Way back in the mid-90s, I created an accordion-fold book with 16 illustrators. It created one, long table that zigzagged across a table. And it benefited Share Our Strength's campaign to end childhood hunger in America. Their work continues to day. (See link below.) Creative Editions has created a new version of the book—with a poem that's been revised to reflect our global times—with pages illustrated with the gorgeously decorative artwork of Becca Stadtlander. "In a world of bountiful food yet increasing food insecurity, we are called to remember that all creatures have a place—and may be fed sustainably—at the greatest, communal table offered by our planet."
